Original Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival
Held on Labor Day weekend in Opelousas, the birthplace of Zydeco legend Clifton Chenier, this long-running festival celebrates the Creole roots of Zydeco music with live bands, washboard accordion jams, and the food traditions of the Creole prairie communities of St. Landry Parish.
