What Villagly is

Villagly is a free directory of village and countryside events across the UK. We help you find events; we do not run them. We are not a ticket seller, a booking agent, or a tourist board.

Accuracy of listings

We compile listings from public sources and from information organisers send us. Dates, prices, locations, and other details can change or be cancelled at short notice, and errors can occur. Always check the organiser's own website before you travel or spend money. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or accurate, and we are not responsible for events that change or do not take place.

No bookings or payments

You cannot buy tickets or book through Villagly. Any purchase or booking is a matter between you and the organiser or their ticketing provider, on their terms.

Listing an event

If you send us an event to list (currently by email), you confirm that you have the right to share the information and that it is accurate. You grant us permission to publish and edit that information on Villagly. We may decide not to list, or to remove, any event at our discretion.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, misuse it, or use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes others' rights.

Our content

The Villagly name, logo, design, and the original descriptions and editorial on the site belong to Villagly and are protected by intellectual property law. You may link to our pages and share them normally, but you may not copy or reuse substantial parts of the site without our permission. Event details that originate with organisers remain theirs.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Liability

We provide Villagly "as is" and as a free service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on any listing, including events that are changed, cancelled, or misdescribed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site develops. The current version is always the one published here, with the date shown at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
