Gueydan Duck Festival
Held since 1977 in the self-proclaimed Duck Capital of America, Gueydan's four-day festival celebrates Acadiana's waterfowl hunting heritage with a state duck and goose calling contest, skeet shooting, dog trials, decoy carving, outdoor cooking contests, a grand parade, and plenty of Cajun food.
