Brecon County Show
A market town show in the Brecon Beacons foothills that has been bringing Welsh Black cattle and mountain ponies into the ring since the 19th century, surrounded by mountains on every side.
Brecon earns a full day without effort: a Norman-founded, cathedral-crowned market town inside a national park, with a twice-weekly indoor market, a monthly farmers market, Good Beer Guide pubs, independent cafes, and enough medieval and Georgian stone to reward slow walking in any direction.
