Violinist Rachel Podger leads world-class period-instrument music in the intimate churches and halls of a small market town wrapped in the Brecon Beacons.
Brecon earns a full day without effort: a Norman-founded, cathedral-crowned market town inside a national park, with a twice-weekly indoor market, a monthly farmers market, Good Beer Guide pubs, independent cafes, and enough medieval and Georgian stone to reward slow walking in any direction.
