Abergavenny Christmas Market
The magnificent Victorian Market Hall of this Welsh market town at the foot of the Brecon Beacons hosts its Christmas markets on late Sundays in November and December, offering local crafts and food in one of the grandest working market buildings in Wales.
Abergavenny punches well above its size as a market town: a serious food scene, four Good Beer Guide pubs, a medieval priory full of genuine drama, 252 listed buildings, and a working market running Tuesday, Friday and Saturday make it a rewarding full day rather than a passing stop.
