La Vijanera

On the first Sunday of each year, the hamlet of Silió in the Molledo valley is taken over by dozens of costumed characters in cattle hides, rags and corn leaves who parade, defend the village boundaries, recite satirical couplets and symbolically capture a bear in a masquerade of pre-Roman origin declared of National Tourist Interest.
