Fiesta de la Virgen de Guadalupe
The most revered fiesta on La Gomera, held on the first Monday of October at the Ermita de Puntallana outside the island capital, draws pilgrims from every village on the island to honour the Virgen de Guadalupe with processions, silbo gomero whistled greetings and traditional dancing.
