Hänsele-Jück (Fasnet Überlingen)
Every Fasnet, over 1,500 participants of the Hänsele guild process through Überlingen's Lake Constance old town carrying their Karpatsche cracking whips, joined by women in beautiful hand-carved wooden masks and the Hemdglonker in white nightgowns chasing away the last winter ghosts, culminating in the burning of a witch on Shrove Tuesday.
