Gărâna Jazz Festival
Born in 1997 from an informal jam session at a Banat mountain inn, this long-running outdoor festival fills the tiny village of Gărâna with Nordic, American and Balkan jazz every summer, earning its reputation as one of Eastern Europe's most atmospheric small-venue festivals.
