SKS Skûtsjesilen, Grou
The opening race day of the nationally recognised SKS championship in Grou traditionally launches the two-week Frisian skûtsje sailing season, drawing spectators to the lakeside to cheer on historic flat-bottomed cargo ships that have raced these waters since 1945.
