Kaasmarkt Edam
Every Wednesday morning from July to August, horse-drawn carriages and boats deliver rounds of Edam cheese to the historic Jan van Nieuwenhuizen square, where costumed farmers recreate centuries-old trading rituals at the 1778 weigh house.
