Овчарски ден на Бистра (Shepherd's Day on Mount Bistra)
High on the plateau of Mount Bistra between Mavrovo and Galičnik, this two-day mountain festival pits shepherds against each other in sheep-shearing and milking contests, stone-throwing competitions and an anonymous cheese judging, keeping alive the transhumant livestock culture of the Mijak highlanders.
