Jāņu diena Turaidā
At Turaida Museum Reserve's Jāņkalns hill, an all-day and all-night solstice programme runs from the pre-dawn sun-greeting ritual through wreath weaving, cheese making, torch preparation, fire-barrel lighting, and a culminating concert by post-folklore group Iļģi, making it one of Latvia's most ritually complete public Jāņi celebrations.
