Ouchi-juku Hange Matsuri (大内宿半夏まつり)

In the Edo-period thatched post town of Ouchi-juku, men in black eboshi caps carry a mikoshi through the village alongside a red-faced Tengu, enacting a centuries-old rite that prays for household safety and good harvests at Takakura Shrine.
