One of Iceland's most celebrated named réttir corrals, Skaftholtsréttir in Þjórsárdalur valley hosts the traditional autumn sheep round-up where hundreds of farmers on horseback drive thousands of sheep down from the highlands into the ancient circular sorting pen, followed by the raucous Réttarball harvest party.
