Πανηγύρι Ταξιαρχών Πράστου

One of the most traditional panigiria in the Peloponnese, held each September in the Tsakonian village of Prastos in Arcadia, where residents still speak a living dialect descended from ancient Doric Greek, making the all-night dancing and live folk music feel rooted in something far older than the Orthodox calendar.
