Panigyri Koimisis Theotokou Megalis Panagias (Πανηγύρι Κοίμησης Θεοτόκου Μεγάλης Παναγίας)
Megali Panagia, a village at the foot of Mount Holomontas in Chalkidiki, has been a pilgrimage destination for the whole of northern Greece on 15 August, with pilgrims camping around the monastery and a great overnight panigiri filling the village.
