Panigiri Panagias Hozoviotissas
The Assumption feast at the cliff-face Monastery of Hozoviotissa, one of the most dramatically sited monasteries in the Aegean, is named by Greeka as one of the finest August 15 celebrations in the Cyclades, with the white-walled monastery 300 metres above the sea filled with pilgrims and followed by a village feast below.
