Giorti Kastanou Agiasou (Γιορτή Κάστανου Αγιάσου)

In a picturesque hilltop village on Lesvos ringed by chestnut forest, locals and visitors gather each November to roast and boil heaps of locally picked chestnuts in steaming street pots, browse produce from the Women's Agricultural Cooperative, and enjoy theatre and music.
