Έθιμο Καπετάνιου / Custom of the Kapetanios (Carnival Sunday)
On the last Sunday of Apokries on the quiet Cycladic island of Serifos, young men dress in traditional breeches, colourful ribbons and waistcoats to perform the Kapetanios custom with island musicians and madinadas in the village square.
