Camel Parade (I Kamila)
In the Cretan village of Kaina in Chania, a handmade camel effigy leads a raucous procession through the main square mocking onlookers, flanked by revellers in sheepskins and animal hides hung with bells, in a folk-theatre carnival custom unique to this small community.
