Pèlerinage Notre-Dame de Lavasina
Known as the Lourdes of Corsica, the hamlet of Lavasina on the eastern cape draws pilgrims each 8 September to its 17th-century sanctuary with a miraculous painting of the Virgin, whose lamp oil is said to have healed a Franciscan nun centuries ago.
