Grand Pardon de Sainte-Anne-la-Palud
Held since the early medieval period on the sands of Douarnenez Bay, this pardon sees up to 500 Breton-costumed cross-bearers and banner-carriers from parishes across Finistère process over the dunes in one of the most visually spectacular pilgrimages in all Brittany.
