Ullswater Country Fair
A small, deeply traditional Lakeland show in the shadow of Helvellyn with gundog displays, terrier racing, ferret racing, fell running and dry stone walling, all packed into a village field beside Ullswater.
A handsome, unhurried walker's village at the foot of Ullswater with a reliable pub and dramatic fell scenery on every side, but very few village amenities left since the shop closed in 2022.
