Worth half a day

A deeply rural moorland valley with no bus, no station, and barely 160 residents, but a proper estate pub with a CAMRA award, a reopened village store, a seasonal cafe, and a spring daffodil spectacle that draws tens of thousands: go in late March and the walk along the River Dove earns every mile.
