One of Bavaria's oldest fairs, rooted in a medieval Ägidius pilgrimage first recorded in 1313, the Gillamoos fills five days with festival tents, brass bands, fairground rides, and its famous Monday political beer-tent speeches in the heart of the Hallertau hop country.
