Tara Festival of Culture and Camel Races
Every two years the tiny Western Downs town of Tara hosts Australia's biggest camel party, drawing 10,000 people to a three-day cultural carnival of professional camel racing, multicultural stage shows, fireworks and massed camping on the edge of outback Queensland.
